Methodology

A transparent account of what the bounded preliminary scan measures—and what it does not.

What the preliminary scan measures

The free scan reviews a bounded set of publicly accessible pages. It measures evidence availability and discoverability, not comprehensive market performance.

Discoverable public-page signals

Visible company identity

Availability of useful evidence categories

Publicly accessible buyer-answer resources

Visible relationship and authority language

What it does not measure

These claims require later engines, broader sources, or human validation and are not represented by the free scan.

Actual AI recommendation frequency

Off-site reputation and third-party citations

Content factual accuracy

Complete competitive position

Semantic answer quality

Evidence classifications

Observed

Directly present on a successfully reviewed public page.

Inferred

A bounded interpretation derived from observed page signals, not a verified fact.

Unavailable

Not accessed, supported, or responsibly assessed by this scan.

Score coverage

A headline score is withheld unless at least three of six dimensions have supporting evidence. A score based on exactly three dimensions is labeled Limited coverage. Unavailable dimensions are always counted and displayed separately.
