Information we collect
When you request an assessment, we collect the company website and company details you submit, plus professional contact information such as your name, business email, title, department, purchasing role, selected concern, and consent choice. We may also receive basic technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
Why we collect it
We use submitted information to deliver and personalize the requested assessment, maintain the service, respond to inquiries, improve our content and product experience, protect against misuse, and—only where consent permits—send relevant product information.
Retention
Assessment, contact, and consent records are currently retained until you request deletion or an authorized administrator removes them. We do not claim an automated deletion schedule that is not yet operating. Limited backup or security records may remain temporarily where required for service continuity, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Service providers
Hosting, database, storage, email, security, and analytics providers may process information on our behalf only to deliver their contracted services. We do not sell submitted personal information.
Cookies, storage, and analytics
The service may use essential browser storage and similar technologies for authentication, saved scan context, security, and core functionality. If analytics are used, they help us understand aggregate service usage. Beacon2Beacon does not intentionally deploy third-party advertising cookies at this stage.
Automated analysis and qualification
Preliminary assessments currently use clearly labeled demonstration logic rather than live intelligence. Professional and company details may support internal lead qualification and relevant follow-up. We do not use this process to infer personal wealth or make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other legally significant eligibility.
Your rights and deletion requests
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information associated with you. You may also object to or question certain processing. Submit a request through our Contact page; we may need to verify your identity before completing it.
Marketing consent and withdrawal
Where marketing consent is requested, it must be actively selected. You may withdraw it at any time by using an unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before the request.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
